Well, the news today wasn’t good.  The cancer has, in fact, invaded my brain.  It’s hard to predict how long I’ve got, but likely a few weeks or a couple months at best. I’ve had 4 lumbar punctures and a blood transfusion this afternoon. The team is discussing how to proceed.  The palliative care team will see me tomorrow. Then, completing the end of life forms. I’ll still be hospitalized for now.

I know a lot of you would like to visit, but this isn’t the right time. I’ll keep you posted. The problem isn’t just COVID, but all the other flu, cold and viruses out there that I’m vulnerable to. Best to keep me safe. I really appreciate all the love and support you’re sending my way.
